Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
SUNDAY MEATLOAF
We love meatloaf. It's such a homey, warm, comfort food. It makes the perfect Sunday meal. There are so many variations to meatloaf. This one is basic, but not lacking flavor. Serve with homemade mashed potatoes and a green vegetable, such as peas, green beans, or Brussels sprouts. The best part of this meal? The people you spend it with.

THE BEST MEATLOAF I'VE EVER MADE
When I was growing up, my mom never ever made meatloaf and I always wanted to try it - I finally tried it at a restaurant and loved it. When I moved out on my own I started experimenting with different recipes and creating my own version. I finally came up with the best meatloaf I have ever made, and I wanted to share it.

Tips:
- Choose the right meat: A combination of ground beef and pork or lamb makes a moist and flavorful meatloaf. You can also use ground turkey or chicken, but they may be a bit drier.
- Don't overmix the meat: Overmixing the meat will make the meatloaf tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Add moisture: Adding moisture to the meatloaf will help keep it moist and prevent it from becoming dry. You can add moisture by using eggs, milk, broth, or vegetables.
- Season the meatloaf well: Season the meatloaf with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices. You can also add a glaze or sauce to the meatloaf before baking.
- Cook the meatloaf at a low temperature: Cooking the meatloaf at a low temperature will help it cook evenly and prevent it from drying out. The ideal internal temperature for meatloaf is 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
Conclusion:
Meatloaf is a classic comfort food that is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. By following these tips, you can make a moist, flavorful, and delicious meatloaf that your family and friends will love.
