Steps:
- Layer one package crescent rolls on the bottom of a 9" x 13" pan. Pat to the edges.
- Mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla and layer on top of the rolls.
- Lay the other can of crescent rolls on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the melted butter over all and then sprinkle with the cinnamon/sugar mixture. *When I use a full stick of butter I have pools of butter/cinnamon to spoon around after baking. If I use ½ stick it seems to do less of this. Your choice.
- Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
- Bon appetite!

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh, high-quality ingredients will result in the best sugar cream bars. Use unsalted butter, large eggs, and pure vanilla extract.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy: This will help to incorporate air into the mixture, resulting in a lighter, more tender bar.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in tough, dense bars. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bars until they are just set: Overbaking will result in dry, crumbly bars. The bars are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting them: This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
- Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days: You can also store them in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Conclusion:
Sugar cream bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their simple ingredients and straightforward instructions, these bars are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give sugar cream bars a try.
