1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper (or favorite burger seasoning or your choice)
4 pretzel buns
4 tablespoons butter (or mayo)

  • Choose the right type of jalapeño peppers. Look for firm, dark green peppers that are about 3 inches long. Avoid peppers that are bruised or have blemishes.
  • Wear gloves when handling jalapeño peppers. The oils from the peppers can irritate your skin.
  • Remove the seeds and ribs from the jalapeño peppers. This will help to reduce the heat of the peppers.
