Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons strawberry preserves
2 fresh rosemary sprigs
1-1/2 cups vanilla yogurt
6 freezer pop molds or paper cups (3 ounces each) and wooden pop or lollipop sticks

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix strawberries, vinegar, preserves and rosemary. Let stand 30 minutes; discard rosemary., Spoon 2 tablespoons yogurt and 1 tablespoon strawberry mixture into each mold or paper cup. Repeat layers. Top molds with holders. If using cups, top with foil and insert sticks through foil. Freeze until firm.

Yield Makes 10 ice pops

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup milk
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1 cup diced fresh strawberries
3 tablespoons honey
2-3 extra strawberries, to slice into rounds for garnish, if desired
Special equipment:
10 3-ounce paper cups
10 wooden ice pop sticks

Steps:

  • 1. In a blender place 1 cup strawberries, milk, yogurt and honey and blend for 1 minute until smooth.
  • 2. Place a strawberry slice in the bottom of a 3 ounce dixie cup. Repeat with the other cups.
  • 3. Fill each cup 3/4 of the way full with the strawberry yogurt mixture and place them in the freezer.
  • 4. Remove cups from the freezer after 1 hour and stick a popsicle stick into the center of each cup.
  • 5. Place cups back in the freezer and let freeze for an additional 4-6 hours.
  • 6. Remove cups from freezer, peel off the paper and serve immediately!

1 pkg 16 oz. frozen unsweetened strawberries thawed and crushed
1 8 oz. carton strawberry lowfat yogurt
2/3 c cranberry juice cocktail
1 Tbsp sugar
10 3 oz. size paper cups
10 wooden sticks

Steps:

  • 1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring well
  • 2. Spoon mixture evenly into cups.
  • 3. insert wooden sticks in each one, freeze until firm, then toss into a freezer bag. keep frozen until ready to serve
