Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries: This will ensure the best flavor in your dressing. If you can't find fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries that have been thawed and drained.
  • Use high-quality olive oil: Extra virgin olive oil is the best choice for this dressing, as it has a rich, fruity flavor. If you don't have extra virgin olive oil on hand, you can use a good quality olive oil.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice: This will give your dressing a bright, citrusy flavor. If you don't have fresh lemon juice, you can use bottled lemon juice, but it won't be as flavorful.
  • Taste the dressing as you go: Adjust the seasonings to your liking. If you find the dressing is too tart, you can add a little more honey or sugar. If you find the dressing is too thick, you can add a little more olive oil or water.
  • Use the dressing immediately or store it in the refrigerator for later use: The dressing will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

This strawberry poppy seed dressing is a delicious and versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of salads. It's also easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. So next time you're looking for a new salad dressing, give this one a try!
