Tips:

  • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Frozen strawberries can also be used, but they should be thawed and drained before using.
  • To make sure the cake roll doesn't crack, roll it up while it's still warm. If it cools down too much, it will be more likely to crack.
  • To make the marshmallow filling, use a candy thermometer to make sure the sugar syrup reaches the correct temperature. If the syrup is too hot, it will be too thick and won't spread easily. If it's not hot enough, it won't set properly.
  • When spreading the marshmallow filling on the cake, make sure it's evenly distributed. If it's too thick in some spots, it will be more likely to cause the cake to crack when you roll it up.
  • To make the glaze, use a microwave-safe bowl. The glaze can be made in the microwave or on the stovetop. If you're making it in the microwave, heat it for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it's melted and smooth.

Conclusion:

This strawberry mallow cake roll is a delicious and impressive dessert that's perfect for any occasion. With its light and fluffy cake, creamy marshmallow filling, and sweet strawberry glaze, it's sure to be a hit. So next time you're looking for a special dessert to make, give this strawberry mallow cake roll a try. You won't be disappointed!
