Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe strawberries. If your strawberries are not very sweet, you may want to add a little more sugar to the filling.
  • If you don't have a rolling pin, you can use a wine bottle or even a glass to roll out the dough.
  • Be sure to chill the dough before baking. This will help to prevent the squares from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the squares until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let the squares cool completely before serving. This will help them to set and make them easier to cut.

Conclusion:

These strawberry cream cheese squares are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're made with a simple cream cheese dough that is filled with a sweet and tangy strawberry filling. The squares are then baked until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Once they've cooled, they're ready to be enjoyed!
