Tips:

  • Use ripe, in-season strawberries. This will ensure the best flavor and texture.
  • Choose a good quality lemon juice. Freshly squeezed is best, but a good quality store-bought lemon juice will work as well.
  • Use fresh lavender flowers. You can find these at most farmers markets or specialty grocery stores.
  • Don't overcook the strawberries. They should be cooked until they are just softened, but still hold their shape.
  • Let the syrup cool completely before using it. This will help to develop the flavor.

Conclusion:

This strawberry syrup is a delicious and versatile way to enjoy the flavors of summer. It can be used on pancakes, waffles, French toast, ice cream, or yogurt. It can also be used in cocktails or mocktails. No matter how you choose to use it, this syrup is sure to please everyone.
