1 (17 1/2 ounce) package betty crocker sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 egg
1 cup white vanilla baking chips (6 oz)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup water
10 -12 drops red food coloring, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F
  • Spray bottom only of 15x10x1 or 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms.
  • Press evenly in bottom of pan.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave baking chips uncovered on High 45 to 60 seconds or until chips are melted and can be stirred smooth.
  • In medium bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.

1 pouch (1 lb. 1.5 oz.) betty crocker sugar cookie mix
1/2 c butter, unsalted
1 egg
FILLING:
1 c white vanilla baking chips (6 oz.)
1 pkg cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
TOPPING:
4 c sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 c sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/3 c water
10 to 12 drops of red food coloring (opt.)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray bottom only of a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan or a 9 x 13-inch pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms.
