Tips:

  • Prep your ingredients ahead of time: Dicing the vegetables and preparing the stuffing mixture can be done in advance, saving you time when you're ready to cook.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through: Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken breast, without touching any bone. The internal temperature should read 165°F (74°C) before removing the chicken from the pan.
  • Don't overcook the chicken: Overcooked chicken can become dry and tough. Keep an eye on the cooking time and remove the chicken from the pan as soon as it reaches the desired internal temperature.
  • Let the chicken rest before slicing: Allowing the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful dish.
  • Serve with your favorite sides: Stove-top stuffed chicken breasts pair well with a variety of sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad.
