Steps:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the edamame, simmering for 5 minutes or until they are tender.
- In the meantime, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce and sesame oil in a small yellow bowl and heat the canola oil on high heat in large skillet or wok. When the edamame are done, use a slotted spoon or spider to transfer them to the hot skillet. Add the garlic and a chili garlic sauce, stirring and cooking with the edamame for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Add the soy sauce mixture and continue to cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl or platter with a second small bowl for the discarded pods. Enjoy warm!

Tips:
- Choose fresh, high-quality edamame. Look for pods that are bright green and plump, with no blemishes or bruises.
- If using frozen edamame, thaw it completely before cooking. You can do this by placing it in a colander and running cold water over it for a few minutes, or by microwaving it on the defrost setting for 1-2 minutes.
- Use a wok or large skillet for stir-frying. This will allow you to cook the edamame quickly and evenly.
- Heat the oil over high heat before adding the edamame. This will help to prevent the edamame from sticking to the pan.
- Stir-fry the edamame for 2-3 minutes, or until it is cooked through and slightly charred. Be careful not to overcook the edamame, as it will become tough.
- Add the sauce and cook for an additional minute, or until the sauce is heated through.
- Serve the stir-fried edamame immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
