Tips:

  • Choose high-quality steak: Opt for steaks that have good marbling, as this will result in a more flavorful and tender steak.
  • Use fresh herbs and spices: Fresh herbs and spices will provide the best flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but use half the amount.
  • Don't overmix the rub: Overmixing the rub can make it too pasty and difficult to apply. Mix the rub just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Apply the rub evenly: Make sure to apply the rub evenly to the entire surface of the steak. This will help to ensure that the steak is seasoned evenly.
  • Let the steak rest before cooking: Letting the steak rest before cooking will allow the rub to penetrate the meat and will help to create a more flavorful steak.
  • Cook the steak to your desired doneness: The best way to cook a steak is to use a meat thermometer to ensure that it is cooked to your desired doneness.

Conclusion:

Using a steak rub or marinade is a great way to add flavor and tenderness to your steak. There are many different recipes for steak rubs and marinades, so you can find one that suits your taste. Experiment with different recipes and find one that you like. With a little practice, you'll be able to make a delicious steak that everyone will enjoy.
