BEST STEAK MARINADE IN EXISTENCE
This is a family recipe that has been developed only over the last 5 years. In this short time it's made me famous in our close circle, but until now I've never shared it with anyone.

STEAK MARINADE MY WAY
I don't know where I picked this up. I've been doing it since I first started cooking, and it's just a great flavor for steaks. I'd suggest at least a nights worth of soaking if you have the time to. The main flavor in this marinade is the Italian mixed with the Worcestershire.

Steps:
- This recipe is best if you beat the steaks and stab it a few times with a fork so the juice can soak into the meat.
- Mix Italian dressing and Worcestershire sauce. This is the main thing--if you would like to add more or less of either, just make sure the Worcestershire isn't overpowering the Italian dressing.
- Add minced onion, garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper to tastes. I usually use at least a shake or two from each bottle, a little lighter on the salt and pepper then the other two, but its not a science in the recipe, just go with your tastes.
- Marinate!

Tips:
- Choose the Right Steak: Select a high-quality steak with good marbling, such as ribeye, strip loin, or tenderloin, for the best flavor and tenderness.
- Use a Flavorful Marinade: Experiment with different marinade ingredients to create a flavorful and aromatic blend. Common ingredients include olive oil, red wine, garlic, herbs, and spices. Adjust the marinade ingredients and proportions to suit your taste preferences.
- Marinate for Optimal Time: The marinating time depends on the thickness of the steak and the desired level of flavor infusion. Generally, thinner steaks require shorter marinating times (30 minutes to 2 hours), while thicker steaks can benefit from longer marinating (up to 12 hours or overnight).
- Tenderize the Steak: Before marinating, consider using a meat tenderizer or mallet to break down the tough connective tissues and enhance the tenderness of the steak.
- Bring Steak to Room Temperature: Before cooking, allow the marinated steak to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps ensure even cooking and prevents the steak from becoming tough.
- Cook Over High Heat: Sear the steak over high heat to create a flavorful crust and lock in the juices. Use a grill, skillet, or griddle to achieve a nice sear. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking to your desired doneness.
- Rest the Steak: After cooking, let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
Conclusion:
By following these tips and experimenting with different marinade recipes, you can create delicious and flavorful grilled steaks that will impress your friends and family. Remember to choose high-quality steaks, use a well-balanced marinade, and cook the steaks over high heat to achieve the perfect sear. With a little practice, you'll be able to master the art of grilling steaks and enjoy perfectly cooked and juicy steaks every time.
