CRANBERRY ORANGE SCONES STARBUCKS COPYCAT RECIPE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, ⅓ cup sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add butter cubes and mix in with a pastry blender until dough becomes coarse crumbs.
- Stir in buttermilk until just moistened. Mix and fold in 1/2 of dried cranberries and orange zest. Mix until completely incorporated. You can use a Kitchen Aid with a dough hook. This is the easiest method.

Pre-heat oven to 400°F, then add the baking sheet to oven when ready. Bake the scones for 18-22 minutes, or until they are nicely golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and cool for 5-10 minutes. 8. While the scones are cooling, prepare the orange glaze by stirring the powdered sugar and orange juice together in a small bowl until thoroughly combined. 9.
