STARBUCKS CARAMEL MACCHIATO BLENDED - TASTES GREAT COLD OR HOT

Starbucks Caramel Macchiato Blended - Tastes Great Cold or Hot image

A rich Starbucks espresso and the rich buttery taste of caramel & creamy milk what could be better. I only use Starbucks original whole bean espresso and grind it to a fine espresso powder and brew it up in my espresso machine. I use the double shot holder on my espresso machine and brew a double shot of espresso. (1 shot is 1 oz- this recipe calls for 2 full ounces of Starbucks espresso). I use a single serve blender for a Blended Caramel Macchiato, if you want a hot beverage just use steamed milk.

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 oz brewed hot espresso or strong coffee
6 oz milk (i used 2%, and it was fine)
3 tsp caramel syrup
1 tsp vanilla syrup
whipped cream (aerosol can type), chilled
extra caramel syrup, for drizzling (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat milk in a small saucepan until hot, but not boiling. Transfer hot milk to a blender, and blend until frothy. (To save time, you can heat the milk in a microwave oven. But using the stove top allows you to more easily control the temperature of the milk.)
  • 2. Transfer frothy milk to a tall mug. Add vanilla syrup and caramel syrup, and stir a few times. Slowly pour hot espresso (or coffee) over the milky mixture.
  • 3. Top with a froth of whipped cream, and if desired drizzle extra caramel syrup over the whipped cream. Serve immediately.
  • 4. If you plan to make Caramel Macchiato often, you might want to consider making your own vanilla syrup. It's easy to do, and you'll save money. Vanilla Syrup: 2 cups water 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat and boil for 5 minutes. Let cool, then add the vanilla and stir well. Store in refrigerator in an air-tight container until ready to use.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the taste of your macchiato.
  • Don't over-mix the ingredients. Over-mixing can make the macchiato grainy.
  • Be patient. It takes a little time to make a good macchiato. Don't rush the process.
  • Experiment with different flavors. You can add a variety of flavors to your macchiato, such as vanilla, hazelnut, or cinnamon.

Conclusion:

The Starbucks Caramel Macchiato is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients. So next time you're craving a macchiato, skip the coffee shop and make one yourself. You'll be glad you did!
