Tips for Baking Star Fruit Carambola Bread:

  • Choose ripe star fruits with vibrant yellow skin and plump flesh for the best flavor.
  • Slice the star fruits thinly to ensure they distribute evenly throughout the bread.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk and letting it sit for 5 minutes before using.

  • Bake the bread in a preheated oven to ensure even cooking.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
