- 1. Dredge squirrel pieces in flour, salt, and pepper.
- 2. Brown in butter.
- 3. Add squirrel and all ingredients except the tomatoes to the boiling water.

- 5. Add the tomatoes and continue to simmer for another hour.

Just like grandma used to make. Very little work goes into this homemade beef stew but it was always made with love. Serve with saltine crackers or yeast rolls.
