Tips:

  • Make sure the cupcakes are completely cool before frosting them. This will help the frosting to set properly.
  • Use a piping bag fitted with a star tip to create the spider web design on the cupcakes. If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a spoon to spread the frosting in a web-like pattern.
  • To make the spider legs, use pretzel sticks or licorice. You can also use candy melts or chocolate chips to create the eyes.
  • If you're using candy melts to make the eyes, be sure to let them cool completely before placing them on the cupcakes. This will help to prevent them from melting.
