Categories     Smoothies

Time 5m

Yield 1 smoothie, 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup vanilla soymilk (regular milk works too)
1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup strawberry (fresh or frozen)
6 ounces non-fat vanilla yogurt (any flavor will work)

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use frozen fruit: Frozen fruit is the key to a thick, creamy smoothie. Fresh fruit will not blend as well and will result in a watery smoothie.
  • Add a liquid base: You can use milk, almond milk, or yogurt as a liquid base for your smoothie. If you are using yogurt, be sure to use plain yogurt so that the sweetness of the fruit shines through.
  • Add a sweetener: If you find that your smoothie is not sweet enough, you can add a sweetener such as honey, maple syrup, or Splenda. Be sure to add the sweetener to taste.
  • Blend until smooth: Blend the smoothie until it is smooth and creamy. If you have a high-powered blender, you may need to blend the smoothie for only 30 seconds to 1 minute. If you have a less powerful blender, you may need to blend the smoothie for 2-3 minutes.
  • Enjoy! Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. You can also top the smoothie with fresh fruit, granola, or nuts.

Conclusion:

This Splenda strawberry blueberry smoothie is a delicious and refreshing way to start your day. It is packed with nutrients and antioxidants, and it is also low in calories and fat. If you are looking for a healthy and satisfying smoothie, this recipe is a great option.
