Time 20m

Yield 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 12

1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 pinch salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper
12 cups Baby Spinach
1 pint strawberry, sliced
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, toss together almonds, corn syrup, sugar, salt and cayenne pepper until coated. Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in 325F oven, stirring occasionally to break up clumps, for about 12 minutes. Let cool completely on pan on rack. Break into pieces.
  • For the dressing, whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • In a large bowl, toss spinach with dressing. Sprinkle with candied almonds and strawberries.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, seasonal ingredients. This will ensure that your salad is packed with flavor and nutrients.
  • Choose a variety of textures. Spinach, strawberries, almonds, and feta cheese all have different textures, which will make your salad more interesting to eat.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different dressings. A simple vinaigrette is always a good choice, but you could also try a creamy dressing or a fruit-based dressing.
  • Make sure your salad is well-dressed. A salad that is too dry will be bland and unappetizing.
  • Serve your salad immediately. Salads are best eaten fresh, so don't let them sit around for too long before serving.

Conclusion:

Spinach salad with strawberries, almonds, and feta cheese is a delicious and healthy salad that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal preferences. So next time you are looking for a light and refreshing salad, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!
