- Add onion soup mix; add sour cream.
- Put in buttered casserole.
- Top with buttered bread crumbs (don't butter them) and Parmesan Cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes.
Tips:
- Prep in Advance: Save time by chopping and prepping the vegetables, cheese, and sauce ahead of time. This will make assembly a breeze when you're ready to bake.
- Use Fresh Ingredients: For the best flavor and texture, use fresh spinach and broccoli. If using frozen vegetables, be sure to thaw and drain them thoroughly before adding them to the casserole.
- Don't Overcook the Vegetables: Overcooked vegetables will become mushy and lose their flavor. Cook them just until they are tender-crisp.
- Use a Variety of Cheeses: Different cheeses offer different flavors and textures. Try using a combination of sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan for a rich and flavorful casserole.
- Don't Skimp on the Sauce: The sauce adds moisture and flavor to the casserole. Use a creamy sauce made with milk, butter, and flour, or try a flavorful pesto sauce for a different twist.
- Bake Until Golden Brown: The casserole is done baking when the top is golden brown and bubbly. This usually takes about 30 minutes.
