Time 5m

Yield 2-4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 cups Baby Spinach, RAW
6 ounces vanilla yogurt, 1 serving
1 banana
water

Steps:

  • Place 4 cups of spinach into a blender.
  • Pour yogurt over the spinach.
  • Slice the banana and put that into the blender, too.
  • Blend for about 1-2 minutes. If the mixture seems too thick to blend, add water accordingly!
  • If you are looking to add milk to your, or your child's diet, you can add milk instead.
  • Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Start with fresh ingredients: Fresh spinach and ripe bananas will give your smoothie the best flavor and nutritional value.
  • Use frozen fruit: Frozen fruit is a great way to add sweetness and creaminess to your smoothie without watering it down. Just be sure to thaw it slightly before blending.
  • Add a variety of greens: Don't just stick to spinach. Try adding other greens like kale, collard greens, or Swiss chard to your smoothie for a boost of nutrients.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment: There are endless possibilities when it comes to making smoothies. Try adding different fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and spices to find your favorite combination.
  • Make it a meal: Add some protein powder, yogurt, or nut butter to your smoothie to make it a more filling meal. This will help you stay satisfied longer and avoid unhealthy cravings.
