Tips:
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey tenders are cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- If you don't have blue cheese dressing, you can make your own. Simply combine 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of sour cream, 1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese, 1 tablespoon of minced fresh parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
- Serve the turkey tenders and penne pasta with a side of steamed vegetables or a salad. This will help to round out the meal and make it more nutritious.
- If you want a spicier dish, you can add more cayenne pepper to the breading. Just be sure to taste the breading before you cook the turkey tenders to make sure it's not too spicy for your taste.
- For a healthier version of this dish, you can bake the turkey tenders instead of frying them. Simply preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the turkey tenders for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
