I looked at the top 5 recipes on this site, combined my favorite ingredients from each, plus a few of my own (Sriracha®/adobe sauce) and...ta-da! A meaty, spicy, flavorful, turkey chili! You can quickly cook up the turkey and combine ingredients in slow cooker, throw in the fridge, and take it out to cook on low before you go to work - works perfectly, easy peasy! 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 yellow onion, chopped

½ (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground turkey in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Stir taco seasoning into ground turkey until evenly coated.

1/2 cup mung beans
1/2 cup lentils
2 plum tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 vegetarian beef stock cube
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin coriander powder
1/2-1 teaspoon chili powder
salt
water

Steps:

  • Soak the beans overnight.
  • Boil the beans in enough water, stock cube, diced tomatoes, puree and spices together for around 1 hour on medium heat until cooked. Towards the end the sauce will thicken up, make sure it doesn't dry up though by adding some water. Add enough water to produce a thick sauce to your own preference.
