1 green onion, washed and chopped
pepper, to taste
salt, to taste
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
2 tablespoons Chinese white rice vinegar (OR white wine vinegar)
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon minced gingerroot (OR 1 teasp. ground ginger)

Tips for Making Spicy Thai Shrimp Pasta:

  • Use the right kind of shrimp. Large shrimp are best for this dish, as they will hold up well to the cooking process.
  • Don't overcook the shrimp. Shrimp cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it or it will become tough.
  • Use fresh vegetables. Fresh vegetables will give your pasta dish the best flavor.
  • Don't be afraid to adjust the spice level. If you like your food spicy, add more chili peppers or chili flakes. If you prefer a milder dish, use less.
  • Serve immediately. Spicy Thai shrimp pasta is best served immediately, while the shrimp is still hot and the vegetables are still crisp.
