SPICY SAUSAGE QUESO
This is a great dip that I always get requests for...took it to work (hospital) and it disappeared before lunchtime. The difference is the fresh vegetables and cheese mix. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Freezes well also.

Steps:
- 1. In a skillet cook and crumble sausage, till browned and no longer pink. Drain
- 2. Put cheese in a large microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 6 minutes or until melted. (Stir every 2 minutes)
- 3. Add salsa and stir. Add seasonings and sausage. Microwave 2 more minutes or until heated thru.
Tips:
- Use a variety of cheeses. This will give your queso a more complex flavor. Try using a combination of sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack, and queso Oaxaca.
- Add some spice. If you like your queso with a little kick, add some diced jalapeños or a dash of cayenne pepper.
- Don't overcook the sausage. Overcooked sausage will make your queso greasy. Cook the sausage until it is just cooked through.
- Serve with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings for queso include tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.
Conclusion:
Spicy sausage queso is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. It is perfect for parties, game days, or any other occasion. With its creamy texture, smoky flavor, and just the right amount of spice, this queso is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
