1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup turbinado sugar
¼ cup water
1 orange, zested
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
1 dash ground black pepper

Steps:

1 cup white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Add vinegar and water to cranberries and cook until soft.
  • Put cooked cranberries through a course strainer or Food Mill.

2 large jalapeños, preferably red, seeded and finely diced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

12 ounces cranberries

2 cups chopped strawberries
1 cup sweet red wine
1 ½ tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick
1 green chile pepper
1 pinch red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Soak the strawberries in red wine for 10 minutes, then transfer to a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. As soon as it starts to boil, add the ginger, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, chile pepper, red pepper flakes, apple cider vinegar and salt.
