⅓ cup sun-dried tomatoes
1 clove garlic
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon chili powder
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (6.5 ounce) can minced clams, drained

2 6 1/2 ounce cans minced clams, liquid included
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 medium-size onion, minced
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
Tabasco sauce to taste
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar chese
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Mild paprika to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a medium-size gratin dish and set aside.
  • In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the clams plus their liquid, the butter, onion, parsley, oregano, Tabasco, and bread crumbs and mix till well blended.
