Tips:

  • For crispy fries, ensure the oil is at the right temperature before adding the fries. Use a deep-fry thermometer to ensure the oil is between 325°F (163°C) and 350°F (177°C).
  • To make sure the fries are evenly crispy, do not overcrowd the fryer basket. Cook the fries in small batches, so they have enough room to crisp up.
  • For extra crispy fries, double-fry them. Fry the fries once until they are golden brown, then remove them from the oil and let them cool slightly. Then, fry them again until they are crispy and golden.
  • Season the fries while they are still hot. This will help the seasonings adhere to the fries.
  • Serve the fries immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Some popular options include ketchup, mayonnaise, ranch dressing, or chili sauce.
