Tips:
- Choose the right tilapia fillets: Look for tilapia fillets that are firm and opaque, with no brown spots or discoloration. Avoid fillets that are thin or have a slimy texture.
- Marinate the tilapia: Marinating the tilapia in a flavorful mixture of spices and herbs will help to enhance its flavor and keep it moist during baking.
- Use a variety of spices: Don't be afraid to experiment with different spices and herbs to create a unique flavor profile for your tilapia. Some popular choices include garlic, paprika, cumin, chili powder, and oregano.
- Don't overcook the tilapia: Tilapia is a delicate fish that can easily become dry and overcooked. Bake it for just 10-12 minutes, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with your favorite sides: Spicy baked tilapia pairs well with a variety of sides, such as rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
