Tips:

  • Choose the right oranges. Look for oranges that are heavy for their size and have a deep orange color. Avoid oranges that have blemishes or bruises.
  • Use fresh cranberries. Fresh cranberries are available in most grocery stores during the fall and winter months. If you can't find fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries, but be sure to thaw them before using.
  • Don't overcook the chutney. The chutney should be cooked until it has thickened and the cranberries have softened, but it should not be overcooked, or it will lose its flavor.
  • Store the chutney properly. The chutney can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze the chutney for up to 6 months.

Conclusion:

Spiced orange cranberry chutney is a delicious and versatile condiment that can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes. It is perfect for adding a sweet and tangy flavor to roasted meats, grilled chicken, or fish. It can also be used as a spread for sandwiches or crackers, or as a topping for yogurt or ice cream.
