Indulge in the vibrant flavors and refreshing taste of Sparkling Sangria, a delightful fruity beverage perfect for any occasion. This classic Spanish drink combines the sweetness of fresh fruits, the tanginess of citrus, and the aromatic notes of wine, creating a harmonious blend that tantalizes the palate. With variations ranging from traditional red wine sangria to sparkling white wine sangria and even non-alcoholic options, this versatile recipe offers something for everyone. Whether you're hosting a party, enjoying a cozy evening at home, or simply craving a refreshing summer drink, Sparkling Sangria is the perfect choice.
**Traditional Red Wine Sangria:**
This classic recipe forms the foundation of all sangria variations. It combines red wine, typically a fruity and bold Spanish wine like Tempranillo or Garnacha, with a variety of chopped fruits like oranges, apples, and strawberries. The addition of brandy or liqueur adds a touch of warmth, while a hint of cinnamon and sugar enhances the flavors.
**Sparkling White Wine Sangria:**
For those who prefer a lighter and more refreshing sangria, the Sparkling White Wine Sangria is an excellent choice. Crisp and fruity white wines like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio are paired with sparkling water or club soda, creating a fizzy and effervescent drink. The addition of citrus fruits like lemons and limes adds a bright and tangy flavor, while fresh mint or basil brings a refreshing herbal note.
**Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Sangria:**
For those who abstain from alcohol or prefer a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage, the Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Sangria is a delightful option. Fresh fruit juices like orange, grape, and pineapple are combined with sparkling water or club soda, creating a vibrant and flavorful drink. A touch of honey or agave syrup adds a hint of sweetness, while citrus slices and fresh mint provide a refreshing touch.
SPARKLING RED WINE SANGRIA
Sangria is a Spanish drink of wine mixed with fruit juice, Sherry or brandy, cut fruit and spices. It's best to mix this up and let it sit for an hour or more before serving so all the flavors of the fruit and wine blend together. -Taste of Home Test Kitchen, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

SPARKLING STRAWBERRY KIWI SANGRIA RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: strawberry, kiwi, light rum, white wine, sparkling wine, sugar, water, oranges, large pitcher
Provided by Chandreyee Sen
Yield 4 servings
Number Of Ingredients 9
Steps:
- Hull the strawberries and cut them in half. Peel the kiwis and cut them into slices.
- Combine half of the halved strawberries, the sugar and water in a saucepan and turn the heat up to medium. Bring the mixture up to a boil and then let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, or until the strawberries seem like they're about to fall apart. 3.Let cool for a few minutes, and then, using a mesh sieve, strain the strawberry goodness into a bowl. Use a spoon to press the strawberries up against the mesh so you get every last beautiful drop of strawberry syrup. Place the syrup in the refrigerator to cool a bit.
- Combine the kiwi slices and the remaining strawberries in a pitcher, and add the rum, white wine, strawberry syrup, and the juice of three oranges (in a pinch, you could also sub a few splashes of bottled orange juice, or even lemonade, for the fresh orange juice).
- Give it all a good stir and then pop the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least four hours to let all of the flavors come together.
- When you're ready to serve, add around three-quarters of the chilled sparkling wine to the pitcher. Pour into glasses and spoon in fruit, topping each glass off with a bit of the remaining champagne so it's nice a bubbly when you hand the glass to a friend. Cheers!
- Enjoy!

Provided by garciamoss

Steps:
- MANGO & STRAWBERRY PURÉE: In a blender or food processor combine strawberries, simple syrup, and strained mango purée and blend until smooth. SANGRIA: Place all ingredients (excluding sparkling wine) into a large glass container, cover and refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, pour into an ice-filled pitcher about 2/3 of the way full. Add fresh sliced fruits and mint and top with sparkling wine, stir gently to mix.
Tips:
- Choose the right wine. A dry or semi-dry red wine is best for sangria. Avoid wines that are too sweet or tannic.
- Use fresh fruit. The fresher the fruit, the better your sangria will taste. Use a variety of fruits, such as oranges, lemons, limes, grapes, and berries.
- Let the sangria sit for at least 2 hours. This will allow the flavors to meld together. The longer you let it sit, the better it will taste.
- Serve sangria chilled. Sangria is best served cold. You can chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
- Garnish with fresh fruit. When serving sangria, garnish it with fresh fruit. This will add a pop of color and flavor.
