This is my son J.J.'s favortie meal. If I use red potatoes I use about 9 since they are small. This is so rich and creamy. It's like Au Gratin potatoes.

Tips for Making Spam Potato Casserole:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. This means using fresh, flavorful potatoes, spam, and cheese. If you can, use organic ingredients for the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the potatoes. They should be cooked until they are tender but still hold their shape. If you overcook them, they will become mushy and the casserole will be less enjoyable.
  • Use a good quality cheese. The type of cheese you use will greatly affect the flavor of the casserole. Use a cheese that melts well and has a strong flavor, such as cheddar, mozzarella, or Gruyère.
  • Add some vegetables to the casserole. This will help to make it more nutritious and flavorful. Some good vegetables to add include diced onions, bell peppers, or corn.
  • Season the casserole well. Use a combination of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. You can also add other spices, such as paprika, cumin, or chili powder, to taste.

Conclusion:

Spam potato casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a family meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover spam. The casserole is creamy, cheesy, and flavorful, and it is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give spam potato casserole a try.
