MEATBALL PINEAPPLE PASTA

Meatball Pineapple Pasta image

I add few drops of tabasco to the sauce too and with Pineapple taste so good.

Provided by Itav D @itav789

Categories     Pasta

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 bag(s) pasta or spaghetti of your choice
1 jar(s) pasta sauce original (or with basil and garlic)
1 bag(s) meatballs
1/4 can(s) pineapple cocktail sliced (or cut them smaller)
1/2 small lemon juice, fresh
2 dash(es) allspice, ground
1 teaspoon(s) garlic and herb seasoning
1/2 teaspoon(s) basil, dried
1/2 cup(s) olive oil (your choice)

Steps:

  • Put a big pot with 1/3 full of water to boil with dash of salt and 1 spoon of oil.
  • Cut all the pineapple slices to smaller pcs. Hold the juice or you can drink it cold :)
  • In the smaller pot empty the jar of spaghetti sauce and add all other ingredients to it plus pineapples to cook.
  • Add all Meatballs total of 20 pcs to the sauce, after the sauce is ready you can cut them in half or 1/4. After 15-20 minutes the the sauce is ready.
  • After the pasta boil for 10-15 minutes, to be sure is soft and cooked, drain the water rinse it with warm water.
  • Clean the pot and put it back on stove and pour oil in it. Sometimes I like to put raw sliced Potatoes or pcs of pita bread at the bottom of the pot to turn golden in the oil,... bottom of the spaghetti mix.
  • Pour half the portion of the cooked spaghetti or your choice to pasta inside the pot and pour the half of the sauce on top and do the same thing again.
  • Steam it for 20 minutes and ready to serve and eat.
  • If you put Potatoes or bread at the bottom of the pot be careful when you empty the pasta. Now Potatoes or breads are golden and crispy too and just put them in the dish and serve it.

MOM'S SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

Mom's Spaghetti Bolognese image

Recipe passed on from my Italian grandfather. The ultimate comfort food. Leftovers freeze nicely! To make this recipe more authentic, you can use a mixture of ground veal, pork, and beef. You can also substitute the balsamic vinegar for 1/2 cup of red wine.

1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 slices bacon, diced
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound lean ground beef

salt and ground black pepper to taste

SIMPLE SPAGHETTI PIE

Simple Spaghetti Pie image

I absolutely love how easily this spaghetti pie jazzes up a simple Italian meal. This is my ultimate dish I make whenever guests come over. Every guest has requested this recipe. Very versatile to suit your style/taste. You can halve the recipe and put it in the 8x8 pan. I usually don't measure the ingredients for the layers; I just eye it to my taste. I like the sauce cooked separately, to allow for flexibility in serving. Feel free to experiment !

QUICK CURRY PASTA WITH GROUND BEEF AND PINEAPPLE

Quick Curry Pasta with Ground Beef and Pineapple image

This is a super quick pasta dish that the whole family loves. I often make a double portion of the sauce for the next day. Then I serve the sauce on top of the pasta instead of mixing it all together at once.

Tips for Making Spaghetti with Pineapple

  • Use fresh pineapple. Fresh pineapple has a sweeter, more vibrant flavor than canned pineapple. If you're using canned pineapple, be sure to drain it well and rinse it before using.
  • Don't overcook the spaghetti. Spaghetti should be cooked al dente, which means it should be tender but still have a slight bite to it. Overcooked spaghetti will be mushy and unpleasant to eat.
  • Use a flavorful sauce. The sauce is what really makes this dish special, so be sure to use a sauce that you love. A simple tomato sauce or a creamy Alfredo sauce are both good options.
  • Add some vegetables. Vegetables like bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms can add flavor and texture to this dish. If you're using vegetables, be sure to cook them until they are tender.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs. Fresh herbs like basil, parsley, or cilantro can add a pop of color and flavor to this dish. If you're using fresh herbs, be sure to chop them finely before adding them to the dish.

Conclusion

Spaghetti with pineapple is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. With its sweet and tangy flavor, this dish is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a new and exciting way to serve spaghetti, give this recipe a try.
