Something different for a change! This is so creamy and flavorful. It's perfect for a cool day. I made this up one night when I was tired of the same old tomato-based soup.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh vegetables, flavorful cheese, and savory spices will make a world of difference in the taste of your chowder.
- Don't overcrowd the pot: If you add too many ingredients at once, the chowder will become thick and gloppy. Add ingredients in batches, stirring constantly.
- Simmer, don't boil: Bring the chowder to a simmer and then reduce the heat to low. Simmering allows the flavors to meld and develop without overcooking the ingredients.
- Season to taste: Taste the chowder before serving and adjust the seasonings as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or spices.
- Serve with your favorite toppings: Shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, and sour cream are all great toppings for southwest tortellini chowder.
