This pudding is very smooth and yummy. I got it from a cookbook where I worked. It is so simple to make. Less calories if using sugar free pudding, low fat sour cream and lite cool whip.

1 (2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
4 ounces sour cream
4 ounces Cool Whip
4 -5 bananas
12 -18 ounces vanilla wafers

Steps:

  • Make pudding according to box directions.
  • Add sour cream and mix well.
  • Fold in cool whip.
  • In large bowl or sheet pan, make layers of pudding mixture, sliced bananas and vanilla wafers.

2 large box instant vanille pudding
8 oz sour cream
12 oz cool whip
7-8 bananas
1 box vanilla wafers
milk
1 large bowl
1 hand held mixer
1 spoon and butter knife

Steps:

  • 1. Follow the directions on the packages of pudding mix.
  • 2. Add the whole tub of sour cream and half of the Cool Whip. Make sure it is well blended.
  • 3. Chop the bananas and add them to the pudding mixture. Save 5 or 6 wafers.Add the remaining wafers to pudding. Mix well.
  • 4. Smooth the pudding out. Add remaining Cool Whip on top, then crush the vanilla wafers and sprinkle it on top of the cool whip. Chill overnight if you want your wafers soft. If you like them crunchy, only chill for one hour before eating. Enjoy!
