3 cups soft white bread cubes- torn
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped celery with leaves
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
12 slices bacon, lightly browned and torn into small pieces
2 pounds ground beef
6 eggs - hard boiled and peeled

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees .Place bread cubes in large bowl. Beat egg and milk together in small bowl, then pour over bread cubes. Let stand until bread absorbs milk, about 15 minutes.
