Tips:

  • Prep Your Ingredients: Before you start baking, measure and prep all of your ingredients. Make sure your butter and eggs are at room temperature for best results.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh ingredients produce the best-tasting cookies. Use high-quality butter, eggs, and flour for the best results.
  • Chill Your Dough: Chilling your dough before baking helps to firm it up and prevent it from spreading too much in the oven. This results in a more crisp and chewy cookie.
  • Don't Overmix: Overmixing the dough can develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in tough cookies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake at the Right Temperature: The oven temperature is crucial for achieving the perfect cookies. Bake your cookies at the temperature specified in the recipe to ensure they don't overcook or undercook.
  • Cooling: Allow the cookies to cool completely before storing them. This helps to prevent them from becoming soft and chewy.
