1 (18.25 ounce) package angel food cake mix
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 ½ cups milk
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

Steps:

  • Prepare and bake the cake as directed on the package. Allow to cool. Remove from pan. Slice a 1 inch layer off the top. Gently hollow out a trench about 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Tear the removed cake into small pieces and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine milk and pudding mix. Beat on low for 2 minutes. Fold cake pieces and 1 3/4 cups of whipped topping into pudding. Fill trench with pudding mixture. Replace top of cake. Spread remaining whipped topping over top and sides of cake.

1 box duncan hines angel food cake mix
1 12oz. container frozen whipped topping
1-1/2 c milk
1 pkg 4-1/2oz. chocolate instant pudding mix

Steps:

  • 1. Bake cake as directed on the box. Cool. Turn out onto a serving plate. Slice 1 inch layer off the top. Gently hollow out a trench in the cake 1-1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Tear cake from trench into small pieces.
  • 2. Combine milk and pudding mix. Beat on low speed for 2 minutes. Fold cake pieces and 1-3/4 cup of topping into the pudding mix. Fill trench with the mixture. Replace top of cake. Spread remaining whipped topping over sides and top of cake. Chill cake until set.

1 1/2 oz container frozen whipped topping
1 1/2 c milk
1- 4 1/2 oz pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix

  • 1. Bake as directed. Cool Slice 1 inch layer off the top gently hollow out a trench in cake 1 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches deep
