Tips:
- Choose the right shrimp: For the best results, use fresh, large shrimp. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely before cooking.
- Smoke the shrimp properly: To get the best flavor, smoke the shrimp over indirect heat for 20-30 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
- Make the smoked tomato vinaigrette ahead of time: This will allow the flavors to meld and develop. You can make it up to 3 days in advance.
- Don't overdress the salad: A little vinaigrette goes a long way. Toss the salad gently to coat the shrimp and vegetables evenly.
- Serve the salad immediately: This salad is best enjoyed fresh. Any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Conclusion:
This smoked shrimp salad with smoked tomato vinaigrette is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The smoky flavor of the shrimp and tomatoes pairs perfectly with the creamy avocado and crunchy celery. This salad is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
