1 large sweet onion, chopped
1 large potato, peeled and cubed
2 large carrots, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 carton (32 ounces) chicken broth
1/3 cup cold water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup frozen corn, thawed
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 cup biscuit/baking mix
1/3 cup 2% milk

  • In a 6-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 10 ingredients; stir in broth. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours., Remove bay leaves.
