1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 pound ground pork
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
1 teaspoon onion powder
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon lingonberry or red currant jelly, optional
1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped

Steps:

  • Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Add the pork, turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, allspice, onion powder, 2 teaspoons salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper to a large bowl.
