1 bone-in turkey breast (6 pounds), skin removed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup chili sauce
3 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons dried oregano or Italian seasoning
4 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
12 kaiser or hard rolls, split

Steps:

  • Place turkey breast in a greased 5-qt. slow cooker. Add onion and green pepper. , Combine the chili sauce, vinegar, oregano and bouillon; pour over turkey and vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until turkey is tender., Shred turkey with 2 forks and return to the slow cooker; heat through. Spoon 1/2 cup onto each roll. 3 lb turkey thighs, skin removed
1/3 cup Italian dressing
12 small French sandwich rolls (3 inches long)
1 container (6.5 oz) garlic-and-herb spreadable cheese
1 jar (7.25 oz) roasted red bell peppers, drained, cut into strips

Steps:

  • Place turkey in 3- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.
  • With slotted spoon, remove turkey from cooker; place on cutting board. Discard liquid in cooker. Remove bones from turkey and discard. With 2 forks, shred turkey. Return turkey to cooker. Stir in Italian dressing.

Steps:

  • Place tortillas on a place and cover with plastic wrap. Warm tortillas slightly in the microwave, about 20 seconds.

1-1/2 pounds lean ground turkey

1 bottle (46 ounces) V8 juice
