Steps:

  • Place your pork chops in a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix remaining ingredients (except pasta) with a mixer until fluffy.
  • Slather sauce ingredients over the top of the pork chops.

6 whole Bone-In Pork Chops
2 cups Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
16 ounces Bottled Italian Salad Dressing
3 whole Yellow Onions (peeled and sliced)

Steps:

  • Spray a 6 quart or larger slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or line with a Crock-Pot Liner if desired.
  • Place a layer of onion at the bottom of the crock.
  • Take approximately 2 cups of Italian bread crumbs into a shallow bowl, that will fit a pork chop.
  • Pour approximately 1/2 of the Italian dressing into the bread crumbs and mix until all moistened.
  • Wait about 5 minutes for the bread crumbs to absorb the moisture.
  • Pour an additional half of what is left of the Italian dressing into the bread crumbs and again mix.
  • Pat each Pork Chop into the mixture smearing it on both sides of the pork chop.
  • Place a layer of pork chops in the crock.
  • Place a layer of onions.
  • Place another layer of pork chops covered in the Italian dressing/crumbs mixture.
  • Add another layer of onions.
  • If you have more chops feel free to keep making layers, I had 2 left on top and then covered the rest with more onions.

4 pork loin chops with bone (1 inch thick)
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil, and
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
green pepper ring (optional)

Steps:

  • In a nonstick skillet, brown pork chops on both sides.
  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the mushrooms, onion and garlic. Top with the pork chops.
  • In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce, lemon juice, salt, oregano, basil and parsley. Pour over pork. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
  • Remove pork and keep warm. Transfer mushroom mixture to a saucepan. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and water until smooth; add to saucepan.

1 envelope dry Italian dressing mix
1 (7 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can of cream of chicken soup
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can of cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup water
parsley for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Spray a large slow cooker (5 to 6 quarts) with nonstick spray. Lay the pork chops (or chicken in the bottom). Sprinkle with black pepper to taste. Sprinkle with the dry Italian seasoning mix. Place the mushroom slices even over the top of the meat. In a bowl mix the soups and cream cheese. Pour evenly over the meat and mushrooms. Pour the cup of water around the edges of the meat. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4 hours. When done, stir the gravy around to mix it well. You can break the meat into smaller bit size servings or serve as they are. If serving this over pasta, you may want to cut the meat smaller, but if serving with mashed potatoes or rice on the side, leave it as is. Its' so tender it will just about fall part.

10 center-cut boneless pork chops, trimmed
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of onion soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
5 fluid ounces water
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
salt and ground black pepper to taste
