4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (mine were frozen when I put them in the slow cooker)
1 lemon, quartered
1 onion, quartered
1 20 ounce bottle of BBQ sauce (any brand or flavor you prefer)
1 can of Coca Cola

Steps:

  • Peel onion and cut into quarters. Cut lemon into quarters. Place chicken breasts in crock pot. Place onion and lemon quarters on top. Pour in entire bottle of BBQ Sauce and entire can of Coke. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

2-3 lb bonless, skinless chicken thighs
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
1 can(s) cola (regular- diet- caffeine free all okay)
1 c ketchup
1/4 c yellow mustard

Steps:

  • 1. Place chicken thighs in the crock pot
  • 2. Sprinkle the onion evenly over the chicken
  • 3. In a small bowl stir together the soda, mustard, and ketchup.
  • 4. Pour cola mixture over the chicken and onions.
  • 5. Set crock pot on high for 4 - 5 hours (or until chicken is tender- I usually do the 'fork test'.. when it breaks apart fairly easily with a fork I call it done)

4 4 4 chicken breasts, cut in half
1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1 1 cup ketchup
1 1 1 cup Coca-Cola (not diet)
1 1 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • Wash chicken and dry thoroughly. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingred. and pour over top of chicken. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. NOTE: You can place in skillet instead, exactly like slow cooker, cover with lid and simmer for about 1 hour or until chicken is done, turning once.
