½ cup chicken broth

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 cup chicken broth
½ cup dry white wine
1 onion, finely chopped
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
6 large fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ cup water
1 (8 ounce) package uncooked spaghetti
½ cup half-and-half cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place the chicken strips, chicken broth, white wine, onion, salt, thyme, black pepper, and parsley into a slow cooker, and set the cooker on Low. Cover, and cook for about 5 hours, then raise setting to High. Stir in the mushrooms; mix the cornstarch and water together in a small bowl, and stir the mixture into the slow cooker. 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 c chicken broth
1/2 c white wine
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 oz can mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried parsley
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c cold water
1/2 c evaporated milk
8 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
1/2 c parmesean cheese, grated
fresh parsley for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Put a disposable slow cooker liner in your slow cooker.
  • 2. Cut the chicken into good sized chunks or strips. I like about a 2 inch or bigger chunk
  • 3. Chop onion and put onion and chicken in the slowcooker.
  • 4. Add the broth, wine, onion,mushrooms, salt thyme, pepper and parsley.
  • 5. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
  • 6. Turn to high. Dissolve cornstarch and water together and stir into slow cooker.

  • 8. Stir in milk, cooked spaghetti, and half of the parmesean cheese.
