Tips:

  • Prep your corn: Before cooking, remove the husks and silks from the corn cobs. If desired, you can cut the cobs into smaller pieces for easier eating.
  • Choose your peppers: The type of peppers you use will affect the heat level of your dish. Jalapeños are a good option for a medium heat level, while serrano peppers are hotter. If you want a milder dish, you can use poblano peppers.
  • Don't overcook the corn: Corn only takes a few minutes to cook, so be careful not to overcook it. Otherwise, it will become tough and chewy.
  • Add your favorite toppings: Once the corn is cooked, you can add your favorite toppings. Some popular options include butter, salt, pepper, cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
  • Experiment with different flavors: Don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors in your slow-cooked jalapeño corn. For example, you could add diced tomatoes, onions, or cilantro.
