2 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup catsup
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 teaspoons onion powder

Steps:

  • In a large frying pan, brown ground turkey, minced garlic and onion powder. Drain, if needed/wanted.
  • Meanwhile, wisk together tomato paste, catsup, mustard and worcestershire sauce.
  • Return drained turkey to pan, stir in sauce. Cook on low for 10 minutes.
  • Serve on hamburger buns.

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 lbs ground turkey
2 bell peppers, chopped fine
2 onions, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot sauce (more if you like hotter)
1 cup ketchup
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium high heat. Cook the turkey until no longer pink then drain.
  • Add the other tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Toss in the peppers, onions and a teaspoon of salt; cook until the onions are translucent. Place the tomato paste, chili powder, and paprika to the vegetables and cook 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 15-30 seconds.

1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/4 cup water

1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
Dash pepper
2 sesame seed hamburger buns, split and toasted
