Steps:
- 1. Spread cream cheese to cover bottom of pie plate or shallow 8x8 dish.
- 2. Pour chili over cream cheese.
- 3. Cover with shredded cheddar. Microwave for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted. People also cook this in the oven but I never have since the microwave is much faster and usually when I'm making this people are ready to eat it:). Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!!
Tips:
- Use a good quality chili. The chili is the base of the dip, so it's important to use a good one. Look for a chili that is flavorful and has a good balance of spices.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different toppings. The toppings are what really make this dip special. Try using different types of cheese, sour cream, onions, and jalapeƱos.
- Make the dip ahead of time. This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This makes it a great option for parties or potlucks.
Conclusion:
This Skyline Chili Dip is the perfect appetizer for any party or gathering. It's easy to make, delicious, and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a crowd-pleasing dip, give this one a try!
