SKINNY SPINACH DIP

Skinny Spinach Dip image

I love the traditional Knorrs Spinach Dip but I'm no longer 20 years old and sour cream is something we limit. So I got the idea to try the recipe with some substitutions. Switch the sour cream for non-fat plain Greek yogurt and only use 2 heaping teaspoons of mayo. And we loved it. We felt we were having a real treat. My husband couldn't stop eating it.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh spinach, bell peppers, and cilantro will give your dip the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the spinach: Wilted spinach is fine, but overcooked spinach will be mushy and lose its flavor.
  • Use a food processor to make the dip: A food processor will make quick work of chopping the spinach, bell peppers, and cilantro.
  • Season the dip to taste: Start with the amount of garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder specified in the recipe, then adjust to your taste.
  • Serve the dip with your favorite dippers: Tortilla chips, pita bread, and vegetables are all great options.

Conclusion:

This Skinny Thai Spinach Dip is a healthy and delicious appetizer or snack that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a healthy and flavorful dip, give this recipe a try!
